MEN AND WOMEN'S DAY 2024
The church celebrated its annual Men and Women's Day on Sunday, November 10, 2024. The speaker for the occasion was Dr. Katrina Robinson. Her message was "A Woman of Honor". She used 1Timothy 3:11 and Luke 2:36-38 as her text.

St. Maryland Welcomes New Member
PASTOR HADLEY CELEBRATES 13 YEARS OF SERVICE
On Friday, March 8, 2024 the church helped Pastor Jamison Hadley celebrate his 13th anniversary. The guest church was 2nd Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Albany, GA and its Pastor, Rev. Theodis Drake. His sermon title was "Watch Dogs that Won't Bark". His text was taken from Isaiah 56:9-11.
New Kitchen Manager
On Sunday, March 10, 2024 a new kitchen manager was appointed. Sis. Yvonnia Malone resigned her position after more than 20 years of service. The apron was handed over to Sis Regina Flowers, on the left below. Sis. Yvonnia (on right) was given a plaque for her faithful years of service.

Church Worships with Antioch Baptist Church in Cuthbert, GA
St. Maryland worshipped with Antioch Baptist Church of Cuthbert, GA on July 9, 2023 as they observed the pastor's appreciation service. Pastor Hadley gave the message which came from Judges 7:1-3. The message was entitled "If You're Scared, Go Home".

NURSING HOME BEAUTY PAGENT
Miss Sonora Crayton, member of St. Maryland Baptist Church and a resident of the Edison Nursing Home participated in a beauty pageant on June 23, 2023. It was a very lovely affair and was well attended. Sonora was beautifully dressed in blue and won third place. We congratulate her on winning third place.

St. Maryland participated in a food give away on Friday, July 10. Boxes of fresh fruit and produce were given away on the church grounds to members of the Leary community. Pictures below show food boxes being loaded onto trailers at JLogistics warehouse.

On May 11, 2019 Shaneka Carter and Kelvin Sheffield, Sr. were united in holy matrimony. The wedding took place at St. Maryland Baptist Church. Rev. Jamison Hadley performed the nuptial. The Matron of Honor was Mrs. Tomeka Curry and the best man was Mr. Kelvin Sheffield, Jr. It was a beautiful wedding.
